Karmic Degradation - the finished work is finally out of my brain and constructed! Hand crafted hardwood frame 74x74cm with each of the lasercut cherrywood panels recessed at an increased depth as the image of the skull is degraded. This took sometime to come together but so happy with the result.
Piece is currently available for purchase at £350 (postage/delivery charges picked up by the buyer) - contact me via firstname.lastname@example.org if you’re interested.
Been a really long time since I did any work on this piece, been gathering dust in a corner of the studio, but busted it out and damn well finished it. Even gave it the 1st coat of varnish. Large scale piece around A1 size, mixed media on hardwood panel.
Karmic Degradation - sketch to finished pieces. I love it when a plan comes together and these turned out better than my expectations. Each piece is 23cm square, central 5 are etched cherrywood and the 2 outer pieces are interchangeable mirrored and black perspex.
I’m currently open to serious offers on the set, would split the wood and perspex pieces and will take comissions on individual pieces.
I will get better at taking photos… Dammit… Been working on some multi-media experiments the last couple of weeks, plenty of in-progress shots up on Instagram if you wanna check them out. These are hardwood panels and I’ve been working with inks, graphite, spray paint and varnish. Fun times. Planning another 3 in this series, loosely titled Shakra Decay…
Demise - New print up in the shop, A3 limited to 13 signed and numbered… You know the drill… Got a few bits of sketch work to post soon and working on a lot of bigger pieces in several medias, don’t wanna let anything out till its all tied down properly.
